musk oxen

This is a great article about musk oxen (Ovibos moschatus) I read in the New York Times today. The first time I saw a musk ox was in 2007 in Alaska. The article mentions that musk oxen are sociable animals and I can attest to this fact. The musk ox I met told me some pretty funny jokes. Some people keep them as pets, even! I'd probably keep a musk ox around because they shed their undercoat called "qiviut" and it's supposedly good for making scarves. Warmer than wool, you say? Yes, please.
